The College of Business is preparing to return to London next year for its annual Study Abroad expedition. The trip runs from June 24th through July 5th, and includes site visits to, and/or guest speakers from, Wimbledon, McDonald’s, BBC, and Coca Cola. Cultural tours include Stonehenge, Bath, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Thames River cruise, double decker bus tour and more. The academic emphasis will be retailing and communication in the United Kingdom, with a focus on global brands. Dr. Nick Gerlich, Professor of Marketing, is coordinating this trip with Dr. Kris Drumheller, Associate Professor of Communication. Students will stay in the Nido international student dormitory in the Kings Cross area of London. Estimated costs for the trip are $2,330 Program Fee (if 21 or more students participate), plus airfare, meals and tuition (although study abroad scholarships are available for tuition assistance).
